‘My home is a reflection of myself. As I clean out the closets of my mind, I also make my home a wonderful place to live.’ - Louise Hay
Our health is shaped by the world around us - our homes, our family and friends, our finances, our jobs……
Having somewhere safe and secure that we can call home is essential for our peace of mind.
So make your home a peaceful haven because your home can
become your sanctuary from the outside world.
'What is success? It is being able to go to bed each night with your soul at peace' - Paulo Coelho
Make your bed a perfect haven for sleep too so you can give over your problems and sleep peacefully…….rest and recovery are essential for long term wellbeing.
Affirm before sleeping ‘I release my fears and problems and hand them over to the universe and surrender the outcome and trust that everything is working out for my highest good.’
‘I feel only peace in my mind and body as I drift off to sleep.’ - Louise Hay
Our conscious loving intentions can easily transform the space in which we live…….remember everything is energy including the walls, floors and objects in your home.
Every home has the potential to be beautiful…..if you walk through your front door into your home and it makes you feel good and welcomed - it’s a great start……
It’s the power of the feel good factor - feeling being the operative word.
Every outward transformation begins in the theatre of your mind - so visualise your home at its best version for you and keep working towards that vision.
I believe the less clutter you have in your life the clearer and more centred and aligned you can become and this creates more space for positive energy to come through. It applies to all areas of life too - including workspaces, wardrobe, car, handbags and digital clutter.
By creating space and a deeper connection with the Universe you will relax and vibrate at a higher frequency which sets you on a path to seeing and attracting your greatest desires……!
I've thought for many years that a high quality life is so much more to do with what you remove than what you add.
So de-clutter……repair or throw out any broken items in your home as they can disrupt the energy flow and stress you; remove any dead or dried flowers…….or items you don’t love.
Any stuff that reminds you of a past version of yourself or a negative situation from your past should be removed too…….clothes, books, magazines, kitchen or exercise gadgets that have never been used, people or relationships that drain your energy…….I know not easy - but this will create a positive mental space for new positive energy to align.
‘Every time you let go of something, you are letting go of a piece of ego. And with that, you become happier and happier.’ - Rhonda Byrne
When you brush and clean your home you are also metaphysically brushing away any limiting beliefs you maybe holding on to and making your home sparkle into a new cleansed chapter……
I believe that buildings only exist because of humans, so they should be nurturing, emotional places and the ancient Oriental philosophy of feng shui helps us to understand that our homes are a direct extension of ourselves.
By applying some of these elements we really can affect our health, wealth, happiness and inner peace. It's not difficult to do and most of the feng shui principles are just common sense.
By looking at your home as a whole system and understanding that one neglected area will sooner or later spread the negative energy throughout the whole house and vice versa you can counteract any problems.
I love lots of natural light and fresh air flowing through our home…….it makes me and my home smile - and my husband!
Clearing clutter and buying less makes you become conscious of the foot print you are leaving on the earth too.
I care for my home the way I care for myself - so I don't have anything that isn't good to look at or broken and cracked. I also love beautiful plants and fresh flowers as I believe bringing nature into your home is good for the energy and makes us feel whole.
Colour and a good solid wood front door and entrance are all important areas to think about too……no large energy blocking objects inside and outside the front door - swept, airy, well-lit, clean and welcoming. Make sure the path is clear to your front door too and the door opens inwards easily……..
‘Every exit is an entry to somewhere else.’ - Tom Stoppard
These are just my basic rules I apply and I find they work for me and believe I have a happy home.
Remember - the world is a reflection of our inner state.
So travel light - you'll be happier and stress free!
Believe the universe will deliver.
What if it all worked out better than you could of imagined?
Take action from a place of spiritual alignment and you’ll find your home will support you……
Any issues that cause you to doubt your ability to succeed should be cast aside. Since they're based on parts of your past that are no longer relevant, you can let them go like all that clutter.……..
It's by focusing on your vision of what could be possible that you'll be able to take advantage of the options coming your way.
They lead towards the future you deserve.
So keep going - the best is yet to come!
Wishing you Love, Joy, Peace and Gratitude.
Have a wonderful month ahead!
